I can navigate the Tokyo mass transit system pretty well now. So far I've manage to get to the Imperial Gardens and Shibuya without getting lost.

I started off this morning with the Imperial gardens. Today was a muted colors day, since yesterday I was wearing my yellow^2 Faye inspired outfit. Though Andrew says it looks more like Pikachu to him. The gardens were okay and free. And opportunity to spend time for free is always welcome. I sat around on benches occationally and people watched. I was also allergic to something or something bit me because my shins started itching and broke out in a rash -- gross. I also started taking more pictures because they will inevidably will harass me for pictures when I get back. I was trying to contrast the traditional with the modern, but I'm far from a photographer.

After my jaunt through the gardens I decided that rather than pay for the subway to Tokyo Station I'd hike there. After walking for a while I started to get antsy and wandered into a station-like structure. I inquired and appearntly all I had to do was go downstairs and walk a bit. This isn't my first time asking stupid questions like that, I've done it in the US more than my fair share of times.

Now I'm taking a break in a mall in Shibuya. I've been keeping my eye out for a foreigner to hang out with, but no luck yet. I'm not sure I want company for clothes shopping anyways. I ended up buying some black knee-thigh socks that laced up the back. For some reason I'm drawn to things with dangely strings and ties.

I found that anime store in Shibuya that Chris was talking about. It's called Mandarake and its like underground with strobe lights going down the stairs. Downstairs is like jinormous collection of manga, doujinshi, toys and everything anime. So I bought like 20 bucks of FMA doujins which were all around pg-13.

After that I went to Harajuku and walked down a very crowded street. There were some cool clothes, but they were pretty expensive. There were a bunch of crepe stands -- it made me think of Fruits Basket, I bought a kiwi strawberry one and found a place to rest. It actually ended up being dinner, oh well there are worse things. I had stumbled my way to the end of the street and decided that I should rest back at the hotel. Resting ended up being sleeping and thus ended my day.
