So apparently American History X is too graphic and racy to show on cadet tv. Granted I haven't seen the movie yet, but that seems rather silly. They can show people getting blown up, chopped up, impaled, that one rape scene in whatever movie that was, and all those weird foreign films they put on the cadet channels, but not this movie. This is the first movie they've decided they can't show. Maybe they should block all normal channels so we don't see racy and graphic images.

Saturday was a suck day.

First we had SAMI. I thought we had the room looking pretty good for having two firstie girls and on navy exchange cadet in here. And in comparison to previous SAMI inspections we weren't criticized all that much. It's annoying dealing with discrepancies. For instance, last SAMI I had my fluffy blanket and chair pillow on my bed and SGT Moore was ok with that, but not okay with the fact the Annie has different sheets than we do (go figure she only comes from the naval academy). This time the tac didn't like my pillow and blanket, had no problem with the navy sheets, and counted my bookends as knickknacks. SGT Moore was pissy about us not defrosting our fridge, the tac was checking the expiration dates on all the food in our fridge. HQ is now in extended AMI for a week, but I don't really care, at least my room isn't being singled out at the crappiest room in the company, even though there are people who don't clean, but just don't get inspected. At least some of them were revealed.

Then we had this ridiculous run.

Following this was the football game. They came close to winning, but in the last 8 seconds of the game the opposing team managed to score. In the last 8 seconds of normal games where the other team is winning, they usually just stand there and let the clock run out.
