I keep forgeting I'm not an optimist, I'm an idealist. An idealist is an unrealistic optimist, which lends itself to streaks of pessimism.

I have a friend who can make me paranoid and insecure with a couple sentences and its been bothering me since then.

So I'm still class leader, even with my steady flow of drill and ceremony slip-ups. I still get the "have they fired you yet?"s. But I imagine most of its in jest. Most people don't come out and say things like that unless they're joking. In the end, whatever to all of it, I've been criticized enough to where its become a mix of expected and get-overable.
