Blah blah
I bought and beat
Suikoden IV. Well I only got around to finishing it after I bought the
first Xenosaga to replace it. I guess this one had a different lead
director fellow or someone because it is a little different than III
and from what I gather I and II (but I've never played them). Suikoden
IV is told from a single perspective so its story isn't as massive as
III's was. Mind you it is still enjoyable. I just like seeing the same
story from 5 perspectives, including a dog's, because of the resulting
character development. In this one you don't ever find out about the
character you play, who he is, where he comes from, how he ended up
being a servant boy. And Troy seemed like he could be a really interesting
character, but he just kinda gets brushed over. The 108 stars are always
enjoyable. It satisfies my "gotta catch 'em all" style of
game play. Andrew started up a file too since he loves pirating so much.
But it hurts me to watch him play it like it hurts me to watch his darkside
character in KOTOR. For some reason my morality won't let me hurt these
digital characters.
We got Sid Meier's
Pirates!. I say we because it was the combined effort of me buying it
from the store and then Andrew buying it from me that got it into our
possesion. I find the exclaimation mark in the title quite appropriate,
mostly because Andrew is the only pirate I know and it seems like something
he would do. I played a round of it last night since he was at a friend's
house. Its pretty fun. I had all intention of saving my family but I
found myself acting as a errand boy for Spain.
I've been looking
for a dog. There's a cute one at the chihuahua rescue place. Its a chihuahua
mut, which in this case means it looks like a small generic dog. I've
begun the adoption process, but I'm not sure if they'll allow me to
get it, they have to check out the house and everything.
I've been offered
a paying job at Rapid Therapy so we'll see how that works out . I'll
probably hop on board after Mikey goes to Korea and I'll be in California
going to school and such.
